Hi all,
I need to bring my car up to a nice shine.
Iv'e got G3 compound, a polish, and a wax.
Im looking for a polisher and the pads to do the job.
Are any of these polisher with pads any good.
If so, which one.
And Could somone be so kindley in telling me what pads i use for what.
I.E, what pad do i use for the G3, polish, and the wax.

Dont use G3 its too coarse. Its only used for flatting and polishing a new paint job.

You need to use "machine polish" you can get this from paint suppliers and they can tell you what mop head to use.

Apply the wax by hand in small circular motions then buff it off when dry.

As Paul says dont use G3 unless you are flatting new paint.

Hi Farecla do a G10 compound , thats along the same lines as T cut. G3 would be ok first with a bit of water then the G10. Needs to be done with a machine tho. Links dont work. Any polisher will do but make sure its not a sander as they spin twice as fast.

G3 is ok for MAJOR swirl removal....

But you need to follow it up with another polish :)

Either of those polishers will do the job. There will be instructions to say which heads to use.

Be careful with rotary polishers if you havent used one before!

Orbital are much safer.
