It's almost there it's firing but somethings not quiet right just wondered if anyone had any ideas. I have fuel at the plugs and a good spark and its timed right whats the next port of call??

Shropshire.

Hi, Check for air leaks on the inlet manifold, carb spacer etc. Have you attached an earth strap?

Cheers Mark.

i've swoped to different carbs over and other not quiet working. inlets off my 1275 does that make any diffence with it being a 998 set up.

Bit comfused! Got good earth strap to the engine. Inlets i dont think are leaking but i'll check tomorrow.

Working up the BHP ladder.

Gotta be either a very weak or very rich mixture? If it was running and all you changed is the carb the fault must be there.
