i had a similar problem. obviously not the same problem as i wouldnt have a DTM. lol

most kwik fit type places will have a pipe expander they use with the whizzy gun, they can stretch the end of your link pipe to fit snug over your downpipe

you can buy specific clamps that make a really good seal when butt joining exhaust sections together. Fitted one on a mates car yesterday! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

i went to kwik fit and got a link pipe that clamps over the 2 pipes and tightens up using bolts
