That's the spirit Matt, get a sulk on with "come on you lot answer my questions" when it suits you. Then when a perfectly normal question is passed your way you come with a dumb ass answer, suprised it was'nt followed by a LOL and a smiley, your usual thing.

In all honesty i can't remember you ever putting in any decent relevant imput into the site, i thought the self confessed "cossie killer" would have so much knoweldge to share, none of us give it all away but a pointing people in the right direction alway is nice. A bit like when you asked all about my polycarb windows, came out with what you wanted to know.

an example was at the rolling road day i asked you what kind of after intercooler inlet temps you ran as mine was up high in the 90's, you came out with "i don't know". A little later when you were on the rollers i noticed you had an charge temp gauge so you did know...

It read 27 degrees at 20 psi EVERYONE!! at the time of be looking.

Another time at Combe i knocked on your car window(the "cossie killer") to just have a chat about your motor and you just refused to even open the fooking door!..Charming!, This was in 1997 just after both our cars had done the front page thing and turbo'd mins were relatively rare.

I might of sent my thoughts via PM but i thought i'd let everyone hear what i think..

Jon.

Do a search for flamer kits on the internet, all the instructions are on there.

There are several ways of doing it.

Ebay to!

Hybrid turbo, big intercooler and follow all the other typical tuning mods.Expect lots of lag.

Jon your so right mate! (If you ever need to no any thing please let me know in the future, I didn't realise you felt so strongly on this matter!) And while we on this subject by the time I get to post on the board most people have already answered peoples questions, so to post "yes that's right I agree" after that just seemed silly to me. As people with as much know how (and more) than me have already answered! and then you'll post an answer as well!

But I think you are speaking a little _ollox about me not putting input on this board, "I can't remember you ever putting in any decent relevant impute into the site" you said. This must be the SAME memory or yours not "remembering" about not speaking to ME at combe????? (more on that one later!)
Just because I don't live on here, I have helped people in the past, it's just that hasn't been said about*wink*

Cheers for the temp, I never have time to look at the gauge when I drive it as it's all over the place and I think I'd end up crashing, and you do have a bad memory mate! as I told you the figure I get on my rolling road, as that's the only time I see it, (but it was better in the post if you didn't tell people here that!*wink*)
By the way Jon when you came over to my car and looked at the gauge I was on low boost (about 10 psi, how's that for info*wink**wink*) running the car up to get it up to the right temps. so I can't see where your getting that fig from, but there you go!

As for at combe, Your right there to! I didn't open my window to you as I tried to approach you earlier in the day for a chat (from one turbo owner to another) , and you completely ignored and blanked me! (nice chap I thought to my self) So you can't blame me for thinking ) -uck you when you came over later to my car!
As you can see there is always 2 sides to every story!

Jim the point of it is to (if you don't have a T2 or T2.5 turbo, or good ignition set up) like yours, is to help spin the blower up on the start line, this will help stop the car bogging down on the line. And I don't know any where that sells them.

As for the turbo to get 200 BHP you don't need a "hybrid turbo" just look at the Metro turbo challenge cars say no more*wink*

Really don't mean to sound nasty, but I just wanted to put people straight.

As for the Combe bit i did'nt know your face only the car. My very good eye sight saw you run 20ish psi on the rollers, i even watched you turn the boost up to ?? on your in car passenger side bleed valve, the people on the passenger side could'nt see as you had your coat up agaist the window for most of the time, i moved the your drivers side.

Yes i do spend a bit of time on hear, the benefits of having a tedious PC based job(an earner though!).

It's no big secret what boost i run, can't see the issue, it takes more than boost to produce higher BHP figs.

Might add a bit more to this thread later, ive a motor to build and a pub to visit, sleep to get then an early start for work!

stowmaket suffolk

oh no here we go again seen all malarki before.

just to put the record straight on miniwilliams, for those who dont no him he is one of the most genuine guys i no ( just ask turbodave) and to keep having a pop at him to me is either sheer jeliously or just plain ignarant behaviour after all we are suposed to be adults here, if the guy wants to keep some info back on his engine then so be it as it proberly has cost him a fortune to get it at this stage of development, most companies dont give away info on there special products with out a price so why should he.

there said my bit and happy posting every body ( and by the way i thought that other board was bad for slagging of people so please dont make this as bad) *tongue* *tongue* *tongue*

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

Would'nt realy call it "slagging off" more putting my opinion over. I am the last person to be "jealous", in fact i am so jelaous of Sauber200's car i phoned him up tonight(having never met the chap or spoken before) to lend a hand to sort out his running problems. He will be a force to be recond with at Avonpark but my sporting spirit would like to see him here, if he wins class D good on him, i won't be upset/jealous call it what you will.

As for my memory it serves me very well.

I don't need to ask anybody anything about anyone!
