Could be, ignition packs often break down at higher ends of the rev range even though they tick over fine. On 21st Jan, 2011 fastcarl said:

Check your fuel pressure. Sounds like the regulator is not working with boost.. AT least this was the problem on my Turbo Buick running 26lbs of boost.... Steve Waters

I suspect fuel.
