still trying to get a needle bearing for my challenge gearset, i have rang and left numerous messages on their answer service, and i have generated a query via the internet, this was done on the 9th and still no response, alas a very poor performance by Jack Knight ! has anyone else had issues with them not getting in touch ? is there anywhere else i can get a needle bearing from ?

If you've got the old bearing or I/D , O/D and length , phone your local bearing specialist , they're usualy half the price of automotive people . If no joy try Antifriction components in Glos. 01452 529669 |

they got back to me. 32.50 exc vat for bearing and 77.00 exc vat for the second gear (bloody hell) looks like i will shop around for the bearing.

If it was me I'd just bite my lip and fork out for what you need, then its on your doorstep in a couple of days ready to fit....

hahaha just cant grasp 100 quid for a cog ! will see what happens with the one that is in first, going to order the bearing ripping gits !!!!

To be brutally honest though, thats what I'd personally expect when buying a second hand gearkit, its a false economy really IMO.
