Hi, if i fit a turbo to my 1275 do i have to get turbo pistons even if i run it a a low psi?

Hi, i think you need to do some background reading mate - im not being a twat its just a helpful hint. The search button has most answers.

CR = Compression Ratio

if you put what car you have, is the engine the one that it came out the factory with? & chaps here may be able to give some basic guidance

there is a keeping your mini alive article that has the basics of turboing ya mini well worth a read, i'm aggreeing with ya mark1275gt me being a novice too! gotta clue up a bit,

dont just nail bits together otherwise tears at bedtime & the days after lol
