i've bought a NOS mk1 metro rad what do i fill the hole with?
is it a thermo switch for the leccy fans the hole is between the in/out pipes

i dont know what the thing is called is it a thermostatic switch, anyone got one spare in working order cheers all

oh are! do you chaps think its ok to have rubber hose for the bends/angles & say stainless pipes for the straight sections be it for cooling iin my case or for intercooler piping!

i'm thinking of doing it like this to make getting angles right etc easier

yes its fine to do bends like that

theres a rubber bung and a thermostatic switch that live in the hole in the rad, i may have one, but it may take me some time to find it, all mutros had one in
