I ment to post this last night but forgot, and the shell is to be painted today.

Does anyone have a guide as to how much material I will need to scoop out the front panel and wing to allow the fitment of 6 by 12 deep dish wheels?

I'm guessing about an inch, but can't be sure.

use the sportpack templates as a guide or............

if you have some mini special/standard mini wheelarches offer them up & mark with a pen where the 1st screw hole is at the front of the arch/front of the car where you'd normally put a screw or rivit in

take the arch away then from the top/middle of your arch on ya car draw a nice line with ya pen that goes from the top/middle of the arch through the dot you've made where the 1st screw of the arch would normally be

you should have a nice line that goes from thin to wide

draw another line exactley 10mm or 1cm below that, any melal below that is what you cut off, lop the metal away

then form the new arch lip with the 10mm left

linish it with a sanding disk on a grinder & prep it for paint from there

hope you understand my cack description, this method has worked for me on 3 cars up to 13" rims & it only rubbed on the 13" rims when i cornered really realy hard

i can do a better description in 2 hrs if this is cack good luck bud!

SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

the Search-section on this forum is blummin superb & simple to use, unlike some other forums, without the search-section & the help of this bunch of chaps on here i'll never be able to !!!Start the day with a 998cc turbo!!! :) i'm getting closer though!
