Hi What size ID do the take off need to be on the inlet manifold, and is there a standard thing people use? I was thinking of tapping and using air line nipples with some ptfe tape, also is it best to put a takeoff at each side of the manifold to keep and pressure loss equal?

Cheers in advance,

Kav

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

i got some good fittings from demon tweeks. had doughty seals etc and just tapped the inlet.

5mm vacuum take-offs i think.

look very neat.

put them where you like! i have one each end of the inlet and one in the middle where the servo was.

(DV, MAP sensor, and boost gauge)

Why? Won't make a toss of difference. The take offs will see an equal amount of either pressure or vacuum no matter where they are in the inlet manifold.
