stoke on trent

hi all. my mini has started to mis fire constantly, it was fine the other day but it has done this before, and cured itself, as they do.
ive took the plugs out cleaned them, even though there new. took the dizzy cap off and rubed it with some sand paper and the rotor arm, these are new aswell. i was thinking h.t leads but these were new when i put the engine in and have done very little miles but have stood for around 9 months, ill change them tomorrow, but can any 1 think of anything else that could be causing this if it isnt that?
thanks

Does it misfire on when its stood and your revving, or does its misfire when your driving?.
