well i have found the issue with the mega jolt, it does help to weld the toothed wheel on the damper properly , as mine came detached ( just as well i left old ign system on the car).

how ever it used to occasionaly totaly missfire eg engine cut out altogether for a split second more than say like the rev limiter if you get my drift.

miniwillimas sugseted it could be the noise filter, mine is set at 10 and it goes to 250 so i take it if you increase this fig more noise will be filtered but buy what amount for say 20 mark increase.

aslo and more inportantly my newly run in engine is running well with no signs of smoke on normally and heavy accelaration driving.

how ever when de aclarating she seems to be sucking oil in some were as when you first put foot back on the load peddal then a nice plum comes out.

its more noticeable when going down hill. some my thoughts are more than likely inlet valve, guide or seal problem but also could be a oil control ring problem as these are the two places it could only suck the oil from .

but doesnt seem to do it if you gentley de accelarate.

head is coming friday for an inspection , as i need to drain water and remove rad any how to fix pulley.

so does any one of you highly intelegant peeps have any more ideas on probs above.

any response would be greatfully appriacted.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

how many miles has the engine done hoggy ?

if breathers are ok then the problem may lie in the guids ?

or the rings may not be bedded in right ?

or maybe a suspect turbo would be my guess!

hope this helps buddy

hmm i hope not the blower as that is newish to, well about 8000 miles max.

all my breathers vent to ats so shouldnt be any prob there, but i use just the ones i get with my payern dk450 gasket set.

remember though hoggy the turbo cooks quite well under the cramped bonnet conditions and the seals will take more punishment

hope its the guids for you
