QUICKY! proper half moon seals that work where do i get them?

i have on in my gasket set but it seems a bit sof to be honest!

i'm a novice to this stuff but some parts just seem shit quality & dont do the job, why make shit parts-pointless!!!!!!!! grrrrrr

i use the ones i get in the payen sets.

never had one leak, use some wellseal to bed it in and its fine.

make sure you trim it nicely to length dry, i dont think i've ever had one the right length.

right i'll have to rder a payen one then iain, my local place is a payen direct seller so hopefully i'll get one 2moz :)

my gasket set is frm minits in standard cardboard box so i dont think its payen, my head gasket is though!!!

to be honest i'd use the one you have. i would doubt you'll have any issues.

I'm sure i havent always used payne, and i know for a fact i havent on other engines and i've never had one leak.

just make sure it fits right as i mentioned and use some sealant on it and it will be fine

Same as iain used lots of different makes not had one leak yet, touch wood

There seems to be 2 types, a floppy one thats just rubber and a "stiff" one that seems to have some metal bracing, I got both types inside the kits I ordered but I used the stiff one as it looked to fit better without trimming, Minispares has the stiff ones
