hello again, just have a quick question about engine steadies, i have a lower engine steady on the front left lower subframe which goes to the clutch casing, but i need the bracket and bolts etc, all the shops seem to sell are the stabilizers which go to the rear of the subframe any ideas? cheers gav

The one to the rear of the subframe is vastly superior to the std (forwards pointing) one...

Alex - the bracket is pretty similar to the 'front' bracket, but the actual tie bar itself has the ends twisted at 30 degrees (or so) to each other, such that it lines up with the subframe angle. You need to drill a hole in the double skinned section of the subframe just to the rear of the lower suspension arm

arr that makes sence...

I've got one, just never looked at fitting it!

While the car is up in the air at the moment I'll give it a wirl...

So it goes from the double skinned section (a hole of your own making) to the diff side plate bolts?
