Greetings,

My Mini is affectionately named "Uber Mini". I've done about everything I can think of to my 1275 to make it live up to it's name. (bored out .060, ported, polished, decked, flat top Hepo's, cam, twin SU's, etc.). It's quick. but I have tasted blood and I like it. Now it's time to take the next step. I want more power.

I considered a turbo but while looking for one, I found a Judson supercharger, a stock 1275 lump, and some brand new Vandervell crank bearings. I plan to run 8-10 PSI. What should I do to the engine to run that kind of boost? and what size pulley should I use?

Any recommendations? Anyone got any experience with a Judson?

I know this is a turbo forum. But boost is boost. I figured you must have a better educated oppinion than any of the other Mini lists. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheerz,
Carl (in Ohio)

Hi Alex,

How much power do I want? That's a tricky one.
How much power can I get without blowing it up or costing the house to beef up the block?

Carl

PS.
I was just checking out your clubbie on your website. Very cool. I dig the minimalistic styling. If Mad Max had a Mini.....
