Hi im selling a 1.3 mg engine.
Everythings there. The MG block is all built up and can be inspected anytime, everyone that has seen it has said how good condition its in. The gearbox is from a low mileage mg engine also, and i will also guarentee that to be perfect. The head is also MG which is still undrilled for the metro/mini heater tap but from a different car and has also been inspected and anyone is welcome to see it.
All the gaskets are also included.
So far, i have sat the block on the gearbox with its gasket, and put the head on, but not torqued it up yet.
The flywheel and everything are also not on yet. Neither is the casing, or starter motor or anything like that, but everythings there. This engine will run perfectly and smoothly when put back together. The guy that sold me that block had used the gearbox for his 1380, and sent the head off for modifying. All gaskets come with it, and i just want rid of it. Also the gearbox driveshaft cup things are there, and lots of various other stuff like electronic ignition and coil, oil filter and pipes, all the rockers and pushrods and things. If theres anything else to check then please dont hesitate to ask. I dont have a thrust bearing or oil seal for the crank, but i can get one if anyone needs it.
Would be a good solid engine to work on for a turbo project, or could just be built up as a perfect running 1.3 MG engine.
Im located in Keighley, neer to bradford/leeds in west yorkshire. Cant really post anything as its getting it to the post office, and cant deliver im afraid :(
any inspections welcome, open to offers, ive lost alot of money on this engine but my parents want it out of the garage now that my mini is near complete.
