Ah right, thats quite reasonable!!

Have your got a contact/company of where you get yours done?

What kind of prep do you need to do before hand?

I dropped into this place and said can you do these please, they said ok come back in the morning to pick them up with some money, lol.

http://www.actionplating.co.uk/index2.html

They also plate Gaz shocks there... there were baskets of them all over the place!

finishing wise I just run over it with a stainless wire brush and wiped it over with a bit of vodka, they dip it in acid before anodising anyway.

worth mentioning is they will be wary of welded part's,

it's possible to anodise welded bits, but if the filler rod (or any of the sections) is a different material when they dip it in cleaning acid it may attack the welds as diferent grades need a different dipping time, especially for colours.

The anodised my radtec rad silver (plain) as it needs the shortest dip time and that came out fine except fot the welds being a slightly dirty colour.

basically for welded parts silver should be fine, but your best forgetting colours.

and its worth letting them know the material if possible too.

Finally got chance to finish the cam pulley adaptors off yesterday (still need to cut keyway, but waiting untill timing is near set).

Not had any chance to do anything on it as I was busy trying to strip the interior out..lol

Looking good matty, I think you'll find that you have to countersink the bolts holding the plate on, as the belt gets very close.

My backplates are bespoke CAD items, pullies are from a Fiesta 1.25, though i do have some ally vernier ones to go on once i have it running, they too are off a Honda engine but the 36 tooth SOHC items in the US, 34 too small, 38 too big, 36 spot on *wink*

Thats looking good MS, how have you modded your cam to fit pulley to drive the oil pump?

So far ive drilled mine, tapped it M10, measured and drawn an adaptor but trying to think of easier solution to save a bit of time?

Is that idler from a Honda aswell?

Its a secret mate *tongue*

However, there are only two ways to do it.

Jimster the puff, took the easy route and i suspect he used something alread made for the job, and it was not JohnK's

Spoil sport!! *tongue*

Ric, the bolts I need are M10 x 1 thread X 45mm long. And if pos. with a cap head?

Preferably if you could get bolts (fitted shaft with thread on end) as opposed to screws?

I'll get you some beer tokens.

Got a bit more done today....

Managed to make the crank pulley adapter and spacer.

Cut keyways and keys to drive the cam pulleys.

Bored out the crank pulley and pressed the pulley onto the adapter. Just need to dutch key it next to stop it from moving.

Countersank the holes in the top plate to clear the timing belt and fitted pulleys up with my newly aquired bolts. :)
