Lol.. too right it may be abit overkill but there's no way im gonna take any chances of that pulley turning on the crank!

They are wide mother hubbards, 30mm most prob, though im running a 25mm belt. The crank pully is 25mm between the guides, so thats as wide as i can go, but the extra bit on the cam pullies allows for the belt to find its place

Finally got the last few bits made to complete my belt drive set-up! :)

Just need to fit a tensioner and find a belt the right length then its sorted!

This is the bush to fit on the original cam.




This is the everything in place, just need to spot through the second sealing plate and its done.




The last pulley to be fitted.

I was hoping to make it out of ally but didn't have a bit of bar with a big enough dia!

Had to use steel *oh well*

Im going to machine a shite load out of the back of it and drill some holes in it to lighten it. Its a tad ott at the moment but everything lines up and clears each other so must be doing something right..lol

The clearances are a little tight between the damper pulley and cam pulley, I may have to machine a little of the edge of the damper to be on the safe side.

Finally got round to finishing my idler pulley. I decided against a key as it would be a PITA to machine as it is a 'blind' bore. Decided a dog drive would be more than up to the job.







Work has started on the manifold, its taken ages to figure out the best way to do it, ended up moking it up in hoses to determine what will work and what won't..lol

I not welding it...fook that! Besides I haven't got a TIG welder, or any welder come to that..lol

Im quite lucky, theres an F1/motorsport exhaust manufacturers less than a five minute walk from my work, they have a shite load of collectors ready made so thats the hard part done.

Just need to find a willing candidate to weld it for me.. llol
