Just wondering
I am gunna use 2" exhaust pipe and cut and weld the main routes out of steel to the intercooler

If i run 2" pipe over the standard metro rocker cover

Will i still be able to close my bonnet ???

Am going to mount the bonnet properly and make some vents for the turbo, rather than keep my bonnet as it is , ie lifted up at the back on the hinges with the ol; one nut per side trick ?

do it, then let me know HAHAHA

can i ask you something, do you fancy making your work twice as hard, and making two of the exhaust pipe joining things? Look on jimsters website and see how he has routed his in the same way.

If you will make me one too ill pay you how much would you want? it would be helping me out alot.

You'll need to put the bonnet up on pins if you go over the rockers if it goes over any thing like mine

I've removed the internal bonnet supports too so the bonnet can be mounted 10-15mm lower but it's still well up.

If you do this be aware you will be stoped on a regular basis by coffin dodgers telling you your bonnets open *laughing*

HOW wide is the track on that mini

9 valves, 4 wheel drive, 3 cylinders, 1 turbo, which got nicked

Wide enough *happy*

Only 7*13 Superlites over 4pots on Mini hubs no dodgy spacers

4pots make no difference if your allready using late type hubs

It will make them wider if you've moved from drums though

wrong mate
as I am useing metro 4 pot vented drive flange's on my mini and they are three quarters of an inch wider per side *wink*

my 5x10s fill the standard plastic arches to the limit *wink*

although it has just dawned on me I also have the non vented on the clubby and they don't stick out so I'll be quiet Lol

Its nearly as wide as mine!!

Problem with that install is that there is no were for the air to flow to! It goes through the intercooler and then no were!
