Just phoned up to tell the insurance that I have fitted a turbo on the mini.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I remember a mate years cago phonoig up to enquire how much it would be if he stuck a turbo motor in his 850 - the policy went rom £205 TPF&T to £189 full comp! Always thought it was a bit of a lottery! |

Had the same thing with the Open when I replaced the brakes (Fiesta jobs) suspension (every thing is on car adjustable) & wheels (now on 10s) these mods did not effect my premium at all but I still had to pay the £25 admin fee. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

http://www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/ seemed helpful. Will insurance a race car, non road registered against theft for about £100 a year. Also do trackdays.
