Ive only got the wastegate housing to refit to my turbo, there didnt appear to be a seal between it and the turbo, is this right? what do people use? |

you mean between the core and turbine housing??? You just assemble it as it is - with coppergrease on the threads! On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

there is a much better thread grease available called neversieze. the one to look out for is the "nuclear grade" which can take temps of upto 1000 degrees F. |

might have to see if we use it at work, building gas turbines gets things hot! lol!

the garrett i work for is normalair garrett, and we make hot air and cold air turbines for the aircraft industry. |
