It's REALLY hard to guess at that... 10K, 15K? Maybe someone would pay 20K?

Perhaps you should be asking the question of how much could YOU build one EXACTLY the same (or slightly better?) for?

And don't listen to the folks who tell you to sell it to a USA buyer... A 2.05:1 exchange rate makes for this being a very expensive vehicle over this side of the pond. It seems more common for original, genuine Cooper S's to be leaving the USA
(bound for England, wherever) nowedays...

It'd be nice if it went to Japan, I wouldnt have to see it again with its new owner- that would break my heart. But it has to go.

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

Paul advertise it on ebay, you can always end the auction if there is an error in the listing.*laughing* At least this way you gauge an interest and potential price

Its not going yet, the new one is nowhere near completion. I dont have a clue how much to sell it for though. It'd be nice if I could afford to keep 2.

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

Even if it's not going yet, buy trying it on ebay it would allow U to now the monies involved so as to let U pontificate the budget / build on any new project. Plus you never know there might be an offer U can't refuse:cool:

Paul - its the best Sprint in the uk - £15k+ easily,I would try for the Jap market - Nick at Playmini would be a good chap to broker for you.

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

Japan or the USA has got to be the only option surely. You won't get decent money for it over here unfortunately.

The new one must be pretty special if you're willing to part with the sprint! Whats it to be.....? *happy*

i'm with nic on this one. its not worth 15,000 that is silly. i'll give you £600 as long as its got a full tank, new MOT and good tyres

serious though, how can you put a price one a one off. you could put it on ebay and nothing could happen, on the other hand you get two people who know what there looking at and the price could go through the roof. its a matter of waiting for the silly offer. Mini World or Mini Mag seem to have the higher priced cars for sale, try there if your not in a hurry

Theres a lot more work in this car than people know, lots of sneakily crafted lightweight items

Is it worth getting it featured in a mag again to create some interest in it before you sell it

I dont know why im giving any help on this as you would be a FOOL to sell

Well Paul I know we have spoken on manny occasions, just about every bl--dy day, even bank holidays and birthdays, about many future projects, resulting in many sleepless nights, one of them being to sell the sprint to release a large amount of monies, but I'm willing to wager £50 that U won't be able to part with something that U have crafted and created over the years to be the car it is today, and viewed by many including myself as the best looking / quality sprint there is. But it is difficult to move on while U have the sprint.*crying*
