No............................................ Well maybe.

For the last two weeks(ish) I have been working every night doing this exact conversion. In all I have spent 16 hours on it, plus a few trips to motor shops in the day. So maybe 20 hours in total.

I did have almost everything ready.

Anyway, it started and ran tonight. Just need to sort fuelling and the timing.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

flippin heck will, but you have serious experiance in the 998 turbo area, you know more of the associated 998 turbocharging problems, i'm getting there with mine, done a bit more or less every night this week + other bits so feeling good-ish! once my timing is done i have my gearbox & carb t sort & fit it all up & do the fibbling & fettling of components

no doubt it'll be the so called little things to get right once i have it in one piece

a long road but worth it joeybabay! keep it going chap!

the Search-section on this forum is blummin superb & simple to use, unlike some other forums, without the search-section & the help of this bunch of chaps on here i'll never be able to !!!Start the day with a 998cc turbo!!! :) i'm getting closer though!

1 day? good effort mate, you got any pictures of it going together or been too busy just doin it? lol. you'll get there joe and you too dave, get it right the first time and you wont need to do it again
