Hi, i recently heard something about remote brake boosters. i was told you can use your old peacan master cylinder with this remote brake booster. anyone knows something? would it be good on a mini? can you use 1 for front and rear?. would like any suggestions please!! thanks

i assume you are talking about the remote servo as fitted to the original cooper S

if so

yes it fits a mini
yes you use the original bean can master cylinder

I had one with dual circuit brakes,only used it with the front discs on the front circuit.

Any of the mini suppliers carry them.
I'd only buy a new one personally.

They ain't cheap - but with single-line brakes you really don't want to take any chances as you don't get the backup you do with dual-circuit brakes.
