this coolant additive that lowers the surface tension of the water thus lowering engine running temps. is it any good or is it a waste of time? |

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

I asked the guy in the local motorworld for some, "Water wetter, what's that ?" he said, with a smile on his face. It took me a while to convince him i wasn't winding him up. He'd never heard of it.

halfords sell it too, its at least 15 quid i think, i used about a half a bottle when i did my old 5 turbo, good stuff but gets pricey if your draining coolant a fair bit for engine removal etc |

Hi sorry to drag up an old thread but wondering if this is still a good option in the aid of cooling thinking about getting some. Is there any ratios for best results, pros and cons ect of the product thanks Scott |

first ensure you are not solving symptoms and hide problems. Generally good flow, timing and mixture will keep temps already ok |
