Hi my name's Adrian, I'm an electronics engineer and have 10 years experience designing ECU's for TRW (formerly Lucas Electronics).

I've had my Mini for the past 10 years during which time it's been on the road for about 1 year and had three different engines, it's one of those projects thats never quite finished.

It's currently fitted with a 1380 N/A engine, twin point fuel injection and my own engine management system which I'm hoping to finish mapping in the next few months. Plan then is to fit a turbo, a couple more injectors and run a low boost high CR setup.

When I get some time I'll try to post some pictures of my project.

Hi Adrian,
Good to have you on board. I have to ask - how did you find this site? Was it by accident, or have you been a long-time lurker? Reason I ask is that there are many references in mini forums pointing to the injection stuff going on here...

TurboDave,
I found the site a few weeks ago following a Google search for fuel injected Minis. I hadn't realised that people had actually started using MS2 for port injection on the A series, the last time I looked the only person who had done any real work was Marcel Chichak and he abandoned that in favour of an eight port. I decided to start working on my ECU when there didn't appear to be an off the shelf unit which was suited to the A series engine needs. Its been slow progress having to do all the hardware/software and development work myself especially getting married and having a baby since I started. Anyway thought I'd join in and share some of my findings along the way since we seem to be at a similar point in development, namely trying to determine when to inject the fuel. I'm just finishing off my W/B Lambda meter to give me better measurment of AFR compared to the old N/B Lambda I've had up until now.
