I am looking into getting a roll cage for the mini. It will be a safety devices 6 point bolt in with door bars, I have cobra monaco bucket seats and am wondering if these seats will foul any part of the cage.

An after thought is also do any plates need welding into the shell or is it just holes drilling, as I don't want to bugger the paint job that has just been completed by setting it on fire!

Thanks

For a road car I'm sure some 2-3mm plates to bolt through the floor should be ok. Place plates on & underneath floor to sandwich it. Hope that makes sense. I can knock some up for you.

I would start the furthest place from the finish.
