i have just fitted my diff. Though i have not put any oil in it yet, when i turn the output shafts by hand, it turns freely until i get to a certain point then it becomes stiff. if i turn it back and forth at that point it will turn freely. Is this anything to worry out or will it free up once up and running?? thanks guys

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

it has been suggested it may be something else in the gearbox binding. The gearbox has just been re-built. Though i had to change the diff ect. any thoughts?

Did it bind before you put the quaife in?

If not then id def something to do with the dif.

Is it the new style or old style quaife?

Make sure none of the CW bolts are catching on the gearbox housing,
