If Carling made Mini engines

If the a008r's and A032r's are already stretched on a 6" rim, whats the point on putting them on a 7" rim, surely it defeats the point as the contact patch wont be any bigger. Roll might be some what reduced however

wakefield West Yorks

Only point is that they dont do a road leagal tyre for 7" wide so
the 165's have to do.

Force wheels all the way.

I had a set of 7x10 force wheels and they certainly gave less tyre roll than narrow sizes. However, you will have interesting steering. I have gone back to 5x10's as they make the car better to drive IMO

Bugger off, I'm getting there.

thee are one or two options in styles from different manufacturers, prices very considderably,
and the arches needed depends which wheel width you go for and what offset ,
some manufacturers have a very limited rim selection ,whilst others have a much larger range enabling a multitude of widths and offsets, from zero, to + or - to almost any offset you may desire,

andywaller - What arches are they! Looks pukka *happy*

surely you are concerned that your hard earned is not spent on some ugly wheel[ if there is one] just because its 3 piece and 7" wide,if so,
that must just leave availability and cost, lol

MB is not readily or easily available, so it leaves you with specialist components (johnK), force racing (fast carl) + kodiak in the US and spectrum.

Guys you can get very wide road legal 10" tyres (225s!), You will find them on quads!

I have some force 6" ones.
They are covered by narrow group 2's and I have not had to trim the arches. (N.B disk brakes not drums)

Although the hi-lows are not on full drop.

I also have some 7" mini special split rims (but they haven't been fitted yet)
