Seen this on ebay will it fit my box ???
(sccr 4speed jkd with tran x 4 pin diff )

Any thoughts on that type of diff

AH!! the salisbury, a mans diff,
if its in reasonable nick it will do the business,
the CW looks like it could do with a clean, ,
also i see its had the case chamfered to ease fitment to late cases,
i may be tempted to have a dabble in this myself,

rick I'm sure your not planning on using your car much on the road but a Salisbury diff can be a real handful ... especially on wheels with minimal offset (such as 13x7s or deep dish 10s)

They certainly do the business and I had one in my last turbo but took it out as it made the car undrivable on the rough roads around the costwolds (then again the boost went down to allow the SCCR gearset to be removed and 2 layers of sound proofining went in so the car ended up the exact opposite of what I think your building!!!!)

Roger the car will be used on road but only minimal, dont mind it pulling me around to be honest make me enjoy it more. had a focus rs last year and enjoyd that, i no its not the same but ideas there.
is the lsd picturd all complete obviously and is there anything i should look out for

looks to be all there mate. It's difficult to tell without opening but they do wear internally. He says rebuilt so that is probably ok.

The only other thing to check is the ramp rates as if it was from a circuit car it may be a bit too brutal for the road!!

Either way buy a larger diameter steering wheel to help hold on to her!!!

I run a Salisbury myself set at 85lbs. AWESOME! Bit of a handful though. I wouldnt have paid that much.

Think i worked out that diff , cw+pinion , and output shafts would be £700 ish new.
