It doesn't make it shine no, what it does do is remove any oily greasy cr@p though.

matty: You can get rubbing blocks that bring up aluminium. Sort of rubbery, not too abrasive and it'll mould into edges as you work it. |

You can tell i am getting old as I don't have to use Gunk on my engines anymore but I did use it to clean the grease off of the extractor hood, cupboards and the top of the fridge in the Kitchen yesterday far better than anything Mr Muscle make! On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

I use that Autogym motocycle cleaner stuff on everything - engines, wheels, it gets bugs off the car as well. Expensive, but then so is buying a different cleaner for each job.

You can also use wire wheels on grinders of drills to give a shine but due to thier abrasive nature give a brushed look, but dont get carried away! Shane. i was in hospital the monday before last having a metal splinter removed from my eye. Wire wheels are ok in drill, but dont whizz them up to 20,000rpm in a dri grinder without saftey goggles!!! "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"
