Hello,

i'm very busy restoring my mini special 91' and i want to replace the 998. so yesterday i found a mg metro turbo for 1000 euro, i called the guy and he said that the car is in good shape, but when u rev the engine about 3000 rpm it stalls, could there be a problem with the engine or is it just the carb set off? is 1000 euro a lot for this car? thanks

Resident Cylinder Head Modifier

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

could be many number of things

replace the ignition leads, plugs, dizzy cap rota arm and coil,

theres a good start
as usually all these parts are as old as the car and are clapped out!

1000 euro is about right in europe you pay a tad more than the uk

keep us posted
