hi

my na 998 runaround has started a anoying habbit of falling out of 4th gear.

it happens when im not accelerating but staying at the same speed. i notice it happen manly when im going down a hill.

iv tried to hold on to it and see what happens but it forces it out. theres not way i could keep it in gear.

the gears are all smooth and it has been rebuilt (gearbox) about 15000 miles ago or so.

any ideas what it could be?

im hoping to use it for a mg 1300 lump which i was going to put in over the weekend.

so if there is anything i could do to the box to stop this happening then i will do it while its out.

cheers

wrap a bungie strap around the gear lever and tie it to the drivers seat?
