I've got a new missfire. It only happens on rare occasions, usually when you give it full throttle from low revs.

It's quite loud, and I get a plume of black smoke. Could it be a fueling problem?

Sounds like it to me, try thinning dashpot oil slightly see if it helps matters.

Near Lincoln

yup, sounds like its too rich to me.

you'll probably find a RR setup will save you more fuel than the setup costs within side a month!

What oil would you suggest in the dashpot? It's had engine oil in there as advised by Ray at the last RR visit.

I'm due for a visit to Uncle Rays, but I keep putting it off for various reasons. It really needs it though. I've had a head from Steve and upped the boost since the last one. The main thing is that I can't get anymore boost with the current actuator as the bleed valve is fully open making 12psi. I need to get an actuator from Avonbar before the next visit.
