In the garage......again!!

Does anyone know where the inhibitor switch is on a 998 auto?, the reason i ask is i tried to turn the engine over on my turbo with the key and i get nothing at all. I'm sure all the wires are in place and in the right place, i'm assuming the original inhibitor switch may be the cause. I just need to know its whereabouts so i can join the wires together.

already have, non in the car or underneath in the tunnel, would an inhibitor stop an engine turning over or just cut power to the ignition coil to stop it firing.

From vaguely looking at a wiring diagram some years ago I've a feeling it interrupts the signal wire from the ign barrel to the solenoid.

Found the wiring for the inhibitor, behind the dash, joined them together and it now cranks for oil pressure.

Cheers Tom
