Hi, why is it the small things in this re build are always the bits the piss me off the most?!

The switch is NC normally closed, and mounted above the pedal, so that it is constantly pressed, so when the pedal moves, the switch closes.

Right, that does help thanks Tim, because i was trying to find a mounting spot for it with the switch open not 'pressed'..

Not all pedal boxes ran a switch on the pedal, earlier cars (single line) ran a line pressure switch, it is possible you have one of the older syle pedal boxes with no mounting point!
