Hi all , me again with another question.

Is thair a specific size that cooler pipes should be ? , is bigger better And can they be too small. Think my cooler has 57mm ends and my (nic) plenum is 50mm.

Any help is apreciated as usuall.

52mm does the job for most people, as its easily available.

I will be using 51mm pipe with reducers for the i/c (54-51mm)

Remember it is not so much ultimate flow that you need to achieve, instead you need to duct that pressurised air down to your intercooler and back again with as minimal pressure loss as possible.

Go too big with pipework size (and intercooler volume for that matter) and you'll find the engine may take marginally longer to come on boost.

Possibly, but then again it may reduce the flow rate.
