Who wants a SU turbo carb rebuild kit?

Right, im going to be ordering some of these ASAP as i need one and so does a mate. Rung Burlen to get a price, they do them for ?43.48 not including the postage for the complete rebuild kit. This comes with gaskets, jets, seals, throttle disc (which ive specified has to be plain), bushes, new throttle spindle and float valve.

I can do these for ?43 posted so save yourself a fair few quid postage. Cant do them any less. Couldnt find out what anybody else charges as nowhere advertises the complete rebuild kit. I seem to remember minispares doing them for around ?45 not including the postage.

If any of you want one PM me and we can sort payment, can do paypal or cheque.

Iain - Something that would be of more use is a 'seal and gasket only' kit...

Consisting of:
two off inlet gaskets, one off plenum gasket, two off float lid/dashpot seals, three off spindle seals, one off dashpot damper fibre seal, two off choke seals.

We all pretty much change the needles anyway, i've never seen a worn jet, throttle spindles are rarely worn, etc... Hence a 'seal and gasket' kit would be very usefull...

Only complication i can think is that there are two types of inner choke seal - but all that's needed is for both 'inner' types to be included in the kit... Simple as!

ok dave, ill see what they say! Im getting a full kit for mine as i know the jets are worn and for an extra few quid i may aswell get the lot.

Anybody interested in a seal and gasket kit then? Might be getting hold of some good gasket sets soon too that include all the metal turbo gaskets etc.

hi iain, i would be interested in the metal gaskets for the turbo to manifold and turbo to exhaust elbow. let me know if you can get them please.
