Out of the blue on Sat i had a phone call asking for a bed for the night as a trip to pod to was on the cards for this geezer. Living so close to Pod is Ok, but i hate the place!..i'd much rather get up to Avonpark for a friendlier set up.

My visitor a Mr Carl Austin of Twin engined mini fame was testing his "twinny" and i gladly offered to lend him a had.

For those of you that don't know this car..well you will soon!..It has to be seen to be believed. 2 engines,4wd,Nos,titaniun,alloy & allsorts.

A few teething problems that i intentionally won't go into did'nt help reap the full potential of the machine up the quater mile. The fast time was a very low 13 and the highest terminal was 107. These figs were acheived without the NOS, so 200 or so extra horse are litterally on tap!.

The day was a good tester for the car and i am positive that we will see this car and driver run some VERY fast times and speeds.

i cant even get one engine running right nevermind two

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

just finished drooling over the titanium front subframe, i want one! :) :)

He might knock a few quid off if you have 2!
