What do you think? stripes or no stripes

One of the last jobs to do before the car will be on the home straight is to add a pair of white stripes up the middle of the car. I am still undecided as to wheter it will actually look good or not though.

It is this color

dont stripe it.

I don't think white would work, maybe silver or gun metal, but personally wouldn't stripe it.

With Rob ... gun metal grey would look good if you have to stripe it but I'd probably not do it myself.

Wish I'd never have put vynal stripes on my car (just the normal bonnet ones) as it looks really dated now and I can't remove them without repainting the bonnet as it has faded but won't have under the stripes.

Your choice at the end of the day .. your car so your opinion is the only one that matters!

It looks like BL Lavender Blue from the 70s. Like my V12 Coupe. Lovely.

another vote for no stripes - wont work with the colour mate

I agree, it wouldn't work. Dark blue would suit them, but do you really want to look like them new fiestas????

Best way, buy some coloured cardboard & try it out.
Then take some pics & take some time to make your mind up. :)

Stripes are for rude boy bloddy saxo-come-hovercrafts, not for Minis.

Im sick of people saying to me about my minis would you not put stripes on it like a cooper

It will stay monotone. I can always add them at a later date if I choose, whereas if I do it now and change my mind it will be another respray which I really don't fancy.
