I've satrted to play with the front suspension on the clubby and I was wandering what peoples views are on front spring rates.

LOL .... should have taken a set of mine last night when you borrowed the brackets .... at least you'd of had somethign to play with as a starting point.

If you want to borrow them too they are available mate.

I'll have to look at my notes to find out what rates I have on the front as I honestly can not remember.

I'd probably suggest using soft springs and and anti roll bar than I have without the ARB .... almost certainyl going to be better to drive on track.

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

rob , im running some strange cones i found at the scrappy . i have no idea what rate they are really , i can say they are black and sort of .5 inch thick tube not cone shaped with a ally dish in the top and hieght agjusters ., i thought they were smootha rides ,but the pics of those on minispeed are cones !
they are a bit softer i think and the front seems more compliant and stable ,on the bumpy oxfordshire rds .roll is a little bit worse but its only .25 off the stops so it doesnt go far .

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

Yep, talking about coil-overs, I've edited the post title to avoid confusion.

I should have added that the car in question is the Mod Prod hill climber so it's going to be as light as I can make it, oh and it's got to go round corners as if it's on rails.

Will try and get mine measured this week.

Off the top off my head they are 380ld/" at the length equivelent to being on the bump stops and are progressive rather than single range as I said to you on Friday.

I can't help but think they would be better lighter and used with an ARB.
