The problems have started and this time it's the turn of the clutch.
I have now adjusted the clutch over half a dozen times since getting the car on the road 4 days ago.
Everytime i set it so it works well after less than a hours driving it needs adjusting again. It does not need bleeding it just keeps needing the throwout stop adjusting. I set it so theres a small amount of movement between the arm and the stop {0.5mm}, but after driving for a while tonight there's a huge gap {2mm or so}.
I'm not sure if it's the clutch settling in ? or if it's something else ?
I'm running grey diaphragm and rally/race plate.

Cheers

Phil - i'm always having to adjust mine for the first 100 miles or so - I thought it was just me!
What you have to do is get the 'feel' under your left foot of when it's not right. You should be looking for 3/4"-1" free travel before it starts to get firm.

Any less, and it'll slip /wear out the thrust bearing quickly, any more and it can be difficult to engage gears!

Found the problem. The ball on the end of the clutch arm is bending ....
So every time i set the clutch up it works for a while, then when the arm bends again it stops working.

Anybody know if you can get stronger clutch arms ?
