Hi im after a 16v RS or LT head, preffably with rail/bodies/throttle sensor/injectors etc!

Anyone know a good way to source these heads? Im aware some pop up on the bay but im after all the gubbins that go with it them for the conversion aswell.

If anyone knows of anyone willing to sell one or have them themselves please post here or drop me a pm!! Thanks,

Rich

It works out more expensive but as they are getting snapped up all the time from the breakers (motorworks etc) the best option is to buy what you can when you can. This is what ive done and its cost me 100 quid more than buying the lot together!

I was watching a complete engine without TB's though, went for 165 quid. Search for complete engines as not as many people seems to bid/search for them. *wink*

Yeah thats what I thought, was trying to find out about the cost of shipping but didnt get a reply from them. Just though £30 was a decent price seeing as the other one that was from the uk just went for over £200 on the bay

SouthPark, Colorado

(from SC's website)
Std refurbished heads :-

- Stripped and chemically cleaned
- Oil drain back slots tig welded and tapped for BSP fittings
- head tig welded at front to convert to dry belt drive
- head blasted clean
- head face surfaced
- valve seats cut
- new oil stem seals
- head dry assembled and cam clearances set
-all parts removed and then re-fitted lubed ready for bolting onto block
- cam cover milled to fit dry belt set up
- supplied with cam cover gasket - cut to suit dry belt
- 4 * exhaust manifold gaskets.
- throttle bodies cleaned and checked for wear - replaced as necessary
- supplied with std injectors and inlet mounting stubbs,TPS
- supplied with Dowty washers and BSP fittings for oil drain back.

Given this is a clean head (incl. cover and re-cut seats), that looks ready to bolt on, it's not that bad of a price IMO.

Actually thats a really good point,

I hadn't realised that included all that, that is a good price,

I wonder how much they'd charge to do that to a self sourced head.

John!? *happy*
