Hi

How many amps would this draw?

-lights (usually just sidelights)
-electrical water pump
-fuel pump
-ECU incl 4 injectors
-electrical fan that will only do its job when needed (hopefully seldom)

current in amps = power in watts/ volts if that helps.

sides are normally 12W right?

my water pump pulls about 2.2 A

here is a spec sheet for the fuel pump http://www.fuelsystem.co.uk/new_page_6.htm as its FI allow 9 amps.

4 sides at 1A each =4 :

for the ECU about 7-8 amps ?

the fan 2-3?

So.... 25-26 Amps?

although that fuel pump sounds like a lot

okay, that pretty much shows that the 18 amp alt. Iain uses is a bit to small (its a pitty as I had a lead on one and really want it!)

sidewight are 5 watts each so 2 amps,cooling fan is around 10 to 15 amps
