current in amps = power in watts/ volts if that helps.

okay, that pretty much shows that the 18 amp alt. Iain uses is a bit to small (its a pitty as I had a lead on one and really want it!) |

sidewight are 5 watts each so 2 amps,cooling fan is around 10 to 15 amps
