hi, don't know if this is naughty to ask this, but when i finally rip the spi engine out of my mini, how much should i sell it for? it was checked out on the rollers at richard longman and they said it was one of the good ones? is there different specs? how do i find out which one i've got? it's a 1995 spi sprite. many thanks, nick

I think what he meant by "one of the good ones" was that the varying quality of Rover means not all cars are the same, some bad, and in your case some good.

Value is tricky. If you have lots of service info and milage proof, and people can see it running (and maybe drive) the engine before you take it out it'll be worth more.
