Tonite i fitted the oil cooler, same place as b12 using the metro piping. I wired up teh whole front wiring loom, fitted the air filter and all the hosing, ive got rid of my heater.

Got a question, does the inlet manifold help the engine when it is heated when the engine is COLD, or HOT after running for a bit? Just need to know to work out what order to wire it in after the thermostat housing.

All is on track now, only under bonnet bits to do are fit the dump valve and intercooler pipes.

Ive put the sump guard and bits back on. And the grill. Looks damn sexy. Really am impressed to see it in one piece again.

Next bit to tackle is the damn exhuast, ive gathered that i should put loads of exhaust paste on the downpipe top, and jack it up onto the manifold. Ive had the nuts welded onto the clamp. Do you have the bolts coming in from the left, towards the radiator yes? is that the easiest way to get to them? Also, did you all do it from under the car, or from above? Im starting to wish i hadnt fitted the top steady and earth cable now!

I would like to check my fusebox wire colour connections once again, so if anyone has a good close up pic of their fusebox it would be really usefull!!

thanks alot

james

Hi James,

I personaly dont think it makes much difference... unless you are running an efficent intercooler the air going through it is so hot, there wont be much heating or cooling from the mainfold!

I put the nuts on from above and on the left (clutch side) as there is more room and thats were the down pipe is!!
