whats the correct way of flaring the fuel lines? I'm not familiar with the ways or names but i'm thinking that the 'bulge' is the better?, like those on the carb. If so whats the name or tool used to do it, i can only find 45 degree flaring tools.

if you get a proper flaring kit, you can 'double flare' the end, but leave it with a bead rather than folding it in on itself completely.

Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Most brake pipe flaring kits have the block, yoke, and collets to form from 3/16"th up 5/8" of an inch, will form 3 types of flare, lazer make a cheap and cheerfull tool but its just fit for purpose, if your funds will stretch go for an imperial eastman set, these are far far superier, use mine for work daily, had it 8 years, fab bit of kit.

Frost do a nice cheap flaring tool....

It used to do up to 5/8", bu the version they sell now only does up to 1/2"...
Still very handy, and easy to use.

Its a handled tool, as opposed to the typical 2 bits of metal with holes in it..

No they wont.

But a double flare that most tools do isnt too bad. Its nowhere near as good as a proper flare for such pipes though, but it is functional.

Proper tools to roll a bead on the end of a tube, are quite expensive.
