Much more low down torque and about 20-25 more banannas from the turbo.

i think i might have to live with my 998 lump for a bit longer then and collect a few basic bits to convert my mg lump to a turbo one!

3.1 will be ok, 2.9 better on the motorways etc. Like so much else depends on what your going to use the car for most! Every day is a school day ...........

I must have done 20K+ miles in the Turbo and the only problem I had with it was the water pump packing in. mg pistons dont have much dish at all. got a block minus head in my hall but cant be arsed to measure. at most id say 8cc. CR was around 10:1 IIRC |
