Kent/Surrey Borders

I always bang on about this ...
I have just one , Vented to Atsmosphere with a little KN filter ...

Found this on the NET ,,, is it right ?

The crank case ventilation pipes need to be ventilated to the inlet manifold, this keeps the pressure below the pistons constant with boost pressure and avoids oil/charge getting pushed passed the piston rings. The inlet manifold is already plumbed for this job so it shouldn't to that difficult to do.

Vent to atmosphere i say, if the rings are good there shouldnt be any blow by so the crankcase shouldnt be pressurised anyway. risk pushing oil out of other seals in my opinion, probably wrong though!
Im just venting all mine to air, and next time to a catch tank.

if you vent in to the inlet there is an anti backfire valve in the manifold and as the engine comes on boost it shuts and thats why there is a pipe to the air filter as well witch tees off from that funnie red thing so on boost you vent in to the air in take pipe

think sams refering to the splitter thats inline with the breathers, in it are some restricting gauses to the inlet, thats waht confused me when taking it out of the metro remember!
