I'm in the process of finishing off a turbo car project to sell, and with the engine out I was wondering if it was worth changing the cam? I know it sounds daft as I'm selling it but I'm never happy with anything. The engine is only 2000 miles old since rebuild and is basiclly standard, all I was looking at was to fit an intercooler and maybe a cam so the boost can be pushed up a bit with a bleed valve. Is this a waist of time?

You could just read your own sig!

If you have an MG cam or similar to pop in for free then maybe, but the standard cam won't limit boost. personally I'd leave it.

U'r on the ball carl. I've got several engines in build 1's a N/A & 1's a Turbo, both hopefully something a bit special, hoping to doing some testing & R & D early next year in my GTM car before the turbo engine finds it's way into something else.*tongue*
P.S I'm not deserting the mini drag seen in favour of kit cars, it just makes sense to use it as a test bed.
